Our last post was about our film being available on the streaming channel Xumo Play, and now we're happy to report that it's also available on Tubi - and yes, you can watch for free. :)
Both of these streamers are ad-supported, so that means they play commercials but then the films are free to watch for their audience. You can download the Tubi app to your Smart TV, mobile device or watch in any browser on a computer (but TV is best).
In recent years these platforms have become huge venues for all films, but especially indie films. Streaming fatigue is real and lots of consumers are tired of paying for multiple streaming channels, so the free ones have really taken off. Tubi now has 110 million active monthly users.
Keep in mind too that it's unlikely that our film will ever be on Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, etc. as the overwhelming majority of independent films do not get licensed by these platforms today.
However, we are still on Amazon, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, YouTube Movies and Google Play as a rental or purchase. So if you want to watch the film commercial-free then we suggest going there. Or we also have a great Blu-ray you can own.
But we're very happy that the film is now on Tubi as that can really widen our reach and help people discover the film. It's currently available in the US, Canada and Australia.
